[Senseless Acts of Violence] Given the deadly outcome of this fight--the homicide victim's family members are saying it was sparked by an altercation over two stolen cases of beer--I couldn't help but recall something a Minneapolis police lieutenant said to me during an interview 18 years ago:"People will kill each other over who took the last beer in the fridge. Fighting over Dom Perignon or Veuve Clicquot I could understand..but that watery 3.2 Utah beer ... Just depravity....
