Heath Ledger Dead

[Celebrity News] If you have Internet connection and/or work in an office, you've probably already heard the news. What I want to know is how this development impacts us regular joes. Yes, it's sad. But why do we, myself included, get so teary-eyed over folks we don't actually know (beyond their roles in arguably significant films)? It's not exactly the day the music died.

Let's hear it folks. What, if anything, did Heath mean to you? (Jamie Gadette)

  1. It's all the more tragic considering Amy Whinehouse is still alive...

  2. Loved, loved him in "10 Things I Hate About You," which I saw with my adolescent daughter so many years ago. He was fresh and new, and that "Taming of the Shrew" take was so great. Sad, but can't say I'm shocked. (Holly Mullen)

  3. the below picture helped a lot...

  4. er, this url...

  5. By far the best news i heard all day, such a good beginning to my week. Thanks Heath!!!!

  6. I was shocked because he was so young and did not have a history of being a trouble maker. But when God says it is time - it is time. Check out this website that I found about his death: The death of Heath Ledger – http://www.scoan.org/highlight_se2.htm
Let me know what you think.

  7. life is unfair, why so young?
that scoan.com page is interesting though. I thought that prophecy died out with Nostradamus...

  8. Guys, I read that site www.scoan.org
can you imagine? did you also read about the prophecy on the plane crash?
It made me to think a lot...

  9. where is Lichtenstein???January 26, 2008 at 8:26 PM

This is the longest post I have seen in city weekly? Brokeback mountain was good, knights tale, fairly passable... but come on, tragedies happen all the time. as dan bern would don't wait too long to die young...
