  1. Viva La Zepyr!!!!! Bring it back! It is a disgrace to this city that one man can let a city landmark sit empty.

  2. The Zephyr Sucked!! The Depot is a good room as is Harry O's but the best room besides the Terrace Ballroom By far was Abbey Road. The Ramones The Police and U2 all played there and that room KILLED!!
    Cheers.

  3. The Zephyr put SLC on the national circuit and most of the great touring bands played there, either on their way up or on their way down. The Zephyr was the life blood of downtown SLC, and from West Temple it ruled the city during the greatest time for good nightlife that SLC ever had. There is no comparison to anything else today. But with gas prices having tripled during the tenure of the W, most upstart touring bands will soon be out of business anyway. Soon the only place you will be able to find new, original, out of town music will be on the internet.
R.I.P oh mighty Zephyr. Those days are gone forever.

  4. Abbey Road was cool too, but no comparison to the Zephyr.
