Unsubscribed by Proxy

[Who Has Time for This?] Someone has taken issue with my previous blog and reference to Jim Matheson's newsletter. So much so, they've seen fit to unsubscribe me.

Here's an e-mail that landed in my spam box today:

  1. You don't mess around with Jim. You don't mess around with Jim. You don't mess around with Jim. Just be nice to Jim. Just be nice to Jim. Just be nice to Jim.

  2. I would offer to forward you my copies of his newsletter, but I bet then I'd get unsubscribed. Wait, I criticize him all the time on my blo, and I don't recall the last time I got a newsletter. It's been months, I'd guess. Maybe I should check my spam folder more often. Going to resubscribe now!

  3. Well, Jerre, maybe you should have listened to Jim Croce:

"You don't tug on Superman's cape,
You don't spit into the wind,
You don't pull the mask off the ol' Lone Ranger,
And you don't mess around with Jim, da do da do ..."

  4. The maturity level displayed by "adults" these days is astounding. I would like to tell you that it was probably some silly teenager that unsubscribed you from their newsletter but we know that teenagers have better things to do.
