ReplyDelete"while final attendance figures won’t be tallied until well after the festival officially ends today, Sunday, Jan. 25, local merchants anecdotally say business is down 30-40 percent, Daily Variety reported hotel bookings were down 12 percent"

Keep dreaming, Mark, and maybe Utah's economic collapse you want so badly will appear in your sleep - that's the only place you'll see it. Unless you're looking around your own sunken town, that is.
ReplyDeletelet's examine your claim anon, your state had a 1 billion dollar surplus, now is facing a 1 billion shortage.
ReplyDeleteNo collapse there...move along folks nothing to see.
But we(UTAH) will be cutting police, fire dept, schools, tourism spending, birth defect research, teacher's salaries, and worst of all medicaid for your sick and disabled.
anon...sweetie,
I was born at night,
but not LAST NIGHT!
and another thing ANON,
ReplyDeleteRead the Boston Globe today
Magic Fades At Sundance,,,,I'm good but I don't determine what the Boston Globe publishes.
ANON, this channel didn't get the memo there was no financial collapse...set the straight(so to speak).... sweetie
ReplyDeleteWorst budget shortfall in 20 years greets Utah legislators

Mark:
ReplyDeleteI'm sure the local budget issues have nothing to do with the worst global recession in decades. We'll just chalk it all up to a bunch of angry queers.
Do you realize that nobody bothers opening the dozens of links you provide? Do you realize that nobody, aside from you, cares about what you have to say? Do you realize that you have mental issues and probably need help? Your anxiety and paranoia must be excruciating.
Do you realize your excrutiating budget shortfall and tourism CRATERING brings me GREAT JOY?
ReplyDeleteDo you realize the gutting of the 4 minimal puny gay rights bills in Utah, guarantees MORE LGBT anger at Utah, and fewer LGBTs deciding to stay there?
how's your little weekly doing, any lay offs ...huh babycakes?
Mark:
ReplyDeleteGlad to know you're so petty that you take joy in the suffering of others. You're the SAME as those you HATE and, aside from more HATRED, you have NOTHING to offer. You feel as if you're the only person in the world with troubles and you're so pathetic and selfish you can't look past your own agenda to realize that, with your big mouth, you're actually hurting the very people you're trying to defend.
Personally, I hate tourists. Tourists come here, fall in love with the place and move in. And as for your LGBT friends? Well, if they're anything at all like you, which I doubt, I'd prefer that they stay as far away as possible.
