September Dawn: Box Office Update

[Film] Over the Labor Day weekend, the skin-crawlingly awful Mountain Meadows Massacre dramatization September Dawn raked in $129,000--an average of $310 (or approximately 41 paying customers) per theater.

After 11 days in release, the film has filled its coffers with just over $1 million on the march toward recouping its $11 million budget.

Every once in a great while, market economics brings justice. (Scott Renshaw)
